Those who take a daily dose of googlenews may have noticed this gem of geopolitics.

Personally I'm all about resolving the most long standing conflicts through the use of pandas and other members of the bear family. It's also one of those little "East-West" cultural differences- Bush isn't presenting Pandas to Castro any time soon, but maybe...

Another analogy that some of us gave is the analogy of a divorced couple with their Children.
( Married in China ) Communist party is the husband, Kuomintang is the wife with 2 children in Taiwan which one 1 is led by Song Chu Yu, 1 led by Chen Shui Bian ( Current President )
When the mother visited ex-husband, the husband gave the pandas as a momento in the hope to rekindle their love. Then one of the more obedient son visited his father after his mother's visit and acknowledged his father. The more rebellious son, refused to acknowledge that. Typical divorced family relationship.
So, when will this family be living in harmony again?
